Tenant-Find Service

A tenant-find service is ideal for landlords who wish to manage the property themselves, however find that the advertising, referencing and placing of tenants can be tricky.

Our tenant-find service is set up to assist the landlord in the areas that they most need assistance with and leave the rest of the management with them.  Nonetheless, Laidlaw Lettings is always on hand to provide advice throughout the tenancy period.

The service includes the following:

  • Advertising
  • Accompanied viewings
  • Referencing of the tenants
  • Lease documentation
  • Inventory
  • Organisation of landlord certificates (PAT, GAS, EICR)
  • Collection of deposit & first month's rent
  • Allocation of deposit to a landlord deposit scheme 
  • Check In


All of the above are optional and we tailor the service to suit the landlord for long-term, short-term and holiday lets in East Lothian and Edinburgh.

The tenant-find service is an exclusive £250+VAT.

Spring Clean

Happy Easter!  Now is the time many of us start giving many areas of our lives a Spring clean to make sure that we are getting the most efficient and cost effective deal.  This goes for rental properties too.
